We have done away with the messageboard for the time being. Emails seem to have triumphed over web based communication for now. We may bring it back in the future if the community requests it.

Chalk one up for community activism. Parents celebrated a victory Wednesday night as the superintendent of the Halifax regional school board agreed to ask that a proposed new school be put on hold while the community is properly consulted. Click here to read the article in the Chronicle Herald
