Parents want Casey to intervene – The Herald

“Frustrated after being forced to wait almost 2½ hours for no decision from the Halifax regional school board on a planned new school for their area, a group of Halifax parents is looking for help from a higher power.

‘We appeal to minister Karen Casey to intervene and to ensure that this school and no school is built or closed without the province ensuring public consultation as they promised in the last election,’ parent Waye Mason told reporters after a lengthy board meeting Wednesday night.” – by Rick Conrad
