A History of the Capital Project Submission

We have another background paper, this time on the history of HRSB’s Capital Project submission to the provincial Department of Education.

“The School Review Committee was composed of representatives from School Advisory Committees, and a number of student representatives. ‘The total membership (was) 23. Most meetings were attended by 15 to 18 members.’ It was a valid attempt to gain public input on a broad and important issue. It drew up broad criteria for consideration that attempted to be both practical and humanist. It emphasised the principle of ‘neighbourhood schools.'”
